OPTIONAL TEACHING EXAMPLE · LOCAL SIMULATION

A fictional consent journey across tools.

This small example shows one cross-system problem that SWARN aims to address. It is not a working connector, a real consent receipt, a deletion service or a compliance result.

What the example means

01

Notice

A versioned fictional notice explains the optional purpose. The purchase receipt is only context.

02

Choice

The optional marketing choice begins unchecked and can be recorded as a decline without opting in first. A contact import is not consent.

03

Record

A local example event records the chosen state and fixed fictional time. No visitor identity is collected.

04

Withdrawal

After an affirmative choice, a later example event can record withdrawal. A withdrawal record is not erasure of downstream copies.

05

Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement may remain pending or require manual follow-up. A retry must not invent a second completed event.

Only a boolean choice and fixed fictional events are used. Reloading clears the example; export downloads a local JSON trace. No account, upload, analytics or network submission is involved.

The interactive controls load only when JavaScript is available. The complete teaching path is described above; no event has been recorded.

This example illustrates one lifecycle. The main SWARN story is its intended fit with everyday billing, CRM, spreadsheet, payment, commerce and messaging tools.
